Format

The PGA Tour is the top-tier men's professional golf tour in North America, contested across the calendar year from January to September. The FedEx Cup is the season-long competition, with the top 70 players qualifying for the playoffs and the top 30 advancing to the Tour Championship.

The four majors are the Masters (April), the PGA Championship (May), the US Open (June) and The Open (July). The schedule includes the FedEx Cup events and the marquee invitationals, with the Signature Events carrying the most ranking points.
