Format

The ICC World Test Championship runs on a two-year cycle, with each Test-playing nation playing six other nations across the cycle. Points are accumulated based on the result, with percentage points used as the tie-breaker. The top two teams in the final standings contest the final at Lord's.

This cycle, the qualification picture has come down to the final two series, with India and Australia holding the two qualification spots. The final will be held at Lord's in June.
